The Classic Wine Country Bicycle Tour
There’s no better way to tour the
Long Island Wine Country than from the seat of a bicycle. As you pedal past
rows of undulating vineyards, you’ll enjoy an invigorating sensory
experience that simply cannot be achieved from the inside of a car. You'll
pedal in a group led by local, knowledgeable Tour Guides,
travel along country lanes, visiting wineries you otherwise might

Bicycle to the Beach
What better way to get to the beach then bike there? After riding the
Bethpage Bike path to the southern terminus, it is just a short residential
street ride to the Jones Beach bike path. This 4.5 mile path will take you
right to parking field 10. Here you can lock up the bike and spend the day,
or grab a bite to eat at the food stand. During the off season you can ride
to the boardwalk and
continue you ride for a few more miles. Mostly flat, fully paved, some minor
road traffic.

Bethpage Bicycle Path Picnic Ride
One of Long Island's most popular
trails is the 8 mile Bethpage Bikeway. This paved, mostly flat bikeway takes
you through Bethpage State Park, then down through the Massapequa Preserve.
The Preserve is 423 acres of woodlands, ponds, lakes, freshwater wet-lands,
and is home to hundreds of species of plants and animals.
